Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Bounty for Lost Dog in Mexican Territory to $20,000
Wales soccer player Ramsey has increased the incentive for information regarding the missing pet Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now is with the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, revealed that Halo was last seen in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state area.
Halo, who vanished on October 9th, was wearing a GPS collar, and Ramsey shared a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any information concerning our Halo please get in touch with us. Significant bounty for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and can be back to our family quickly," Ramsey posted on social media.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Appeals
The footballer initially announced that Halo had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently posted numerous photos of the beloved pet on Instagram.
A $10,000 bounty was initially announced, but with no news on the dog's status after a week, the player and his loved ones raised the sum.
"Our only wish is Halo home," he stated in a further plea on social media after the 10-year-old dog disappeared.
The latest picture post is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle sleeping, its head resting in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
Ramsey has additionally shared a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have several "pressing queries" about the disappearance and fear the family "might not receive answers".
"We have yet to haven't found our dog. I fear we will ever," his wife's message read.
The Wales leader signed with Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his first appearance in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the initial prominent British Isles athlete to play in the Mexico's top division.
